Erik ten Hag and Manchester United will be losing one of their longest-serving players at the end of the season as reports confirm the star's exit as '100% confirmed.'

It has been a very underwhelming season for Ten Hag following the relative success of his opening campaign, but the club have taken a significant step back in 23/24 and they look set to miss out on Champions League football.

One of the biggest issues that have faced United this season has been putting the ball in the back of the net, sitting 13th in the goals scored in the Premier League, just one goal ahead of relegation-threatened Luton Town.

Despite the lack of attacking output, United are set to lose one of their attackers in the summer.

There have been rumours surrounding the future of Anthony Martial for some time now given his precarious contract situation, but reports now have confirmed that the 28-year-old will leave the club after nine years.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed Martial's exit from the club when providing an update on the attacker's situation via X.

The Italian Journalist posted: "Anthony Martial will leave Man United at the end of the season, no doubts. He’s gonna pick his favorite option as next club in the coming months, now focused on recovery."

Martial has faced a challenging season at United, plagued by injuries and a perceived lack of trust from Ten Hag, leaving him surplus to requirements as his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has only started five times this season and has scored just one goal, which came against Everton.

Martial has already been handed a blow in his search for a new club as according to French outlet Jeunes Footeux, Olympique Lyonnais have rejected the opportunity to sign the striker on a free transfer in the summer.
