Sheikh Jassim's final offer to complete a full takeover of Manchester United remains on the table. Here are four things that will 'definitely' happen if he acquires the club.
The Qatari businessman has bid for the club through his Nine Two Foundation, with his main rival, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, partnering with his petrochemicals company Ineos.
The United takeover process has been long and drawn-out, with the Glazer family announcing back in November that they were seeking 'strategic alternatives' for the club.

A breakthrough had appeared to be found earlier this week, with The Sun's Neil Custis claiming that Sheikh Jassim had 'won the race'.
But according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, sources close to the Qatari bid believe the process has 'stalled', and have concerns over whether the Glazers actually want to sell the club.
Should Sheikh Jassim eventually prevail, here are four things that will 'definitely' happen.

Man Utd search for marquee signing
According to various reports, Sheikh Jassim wants to buy Kylian Mbappe, Kingsley Coman, Eduardo Camavinga or Neymar if he takes over at Old Trafford.
All in all, it appears likely that the Qatari businessman will try to complete a marquee signing to stamp his authority at the club.
Any signing, though, would have to be done in January - if the takeover is done by then.

Ratcliffe buys another Premier League club?
While Sir Jim Ratcliffe remains a leading candidate to buy a majority share in United - the club he supported growing up - he could turn his attentions elsewhere if he doesn't win.
He launched a late bid to buy Chelsea last year, but lost out to Todd Boehly's consortium.
He was also spotted at Tottenham in December, and could be a candidate to invest in the London club if he chooses to do so.

Old Trafford finally renovated
According to the Daily Mail, Sheikh Jassim's bid includes money set aside to invest in the stadium and the infrastructure around Old Trafford and Carrington.
Much-needed renovations to the famous stadium would, therefore, take place if he is successful in his takeover bid. As per the Manchester Evening News, United are considering several options on the renovation front currently, including rotating the stadium to renovate the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand, or demolish the stand altogether.
Man Utd legends return

Earlier this month, United icon Roy Keane returned to work for the club for the first time since his acromonious departure in 2005 when he helped to launch the 2023/24 third kit.
But other United legends could follow suit if Sheikh Jassim takes over the club.
According to ESPN, via sources, the Qatari businessman is interested in handing roles to members of Sir Alex Ferguson's greatest sides. To whom he would offer a role, and whether they would be willing to work for the club, is unclear.
