Manchester United have been tipped to sign a surprise Real Madrid player this summer.
Ruben Amorim's rebuild has already begun in earnest with the arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a fee of £62.5 million.
Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo has stated that he wants to move to Old Trafford, as per The Athletic, and United will soon hold talks over a deal that could cost them over £50 million.

They have also been linked by Foot Mercato with a shock move for PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma if the Italian leaves the club with a year left on his contract - though such a prospect appears to be unlikely.
But a former United defender has tipped them to approach an 'unhappy' Real Madrid player.
El Chiringuito's Josep Pedrerol claims that Real winger Rodrygo is 'not being treated well' at the club, as per the player's own family circle.
He said: "His family circle sends the message that he's not being treated well at Madrid. They claim the player feels he plays less than he deserves.

"That, combined with the arrival of new signings, could push him to look for a way out."
Rodrygo has also been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer as manager Mikel Arteta searches for reinforcements in attacking areas.
Ex-United stalwart Wes Brown, however, thinks that his former club should make a move for the Brazil international before he joins another side.

He told Boylesports: "I really like Rodrygo, he will want to play in the Champions League but it would be a dream to see him at Manchester United.
"Not just the nature of playing in the Champions League but the finances that brings, he will want to be among the best in the world if he is to leave Real Madrid.
"Although it will be hard for Manchester United to get him, stranger things have happened in football ... it would be a dream move, but it is unlikely."
