Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly been contacted about a vacant managerial position at international level.

Solskjaer has been out of work since his dismissal at Manchester United back in November 2021.

He initially took charge in a caretaker role, replacing Jose Mourinho before landing the job on a full-time basis after working wonders at the club.

Though he was relieved of his duties at Old Trafford following a string of bad results in the Premier League.

He's since been a free agent, having been previously linked with the Leicester City vacancy earlier this summer.

Reports now claim the 50-year-old has been contacted by the Norwegian FA over the vacant position of the head coach for the women's national team.

However, further reports suggest the Man United legend has already turned down the offer.

It's believed he doesn't feel ready for the job yet.

Solskjaer began his managerial career in Norway with Molde before landing a job in the UK. He was appointed Cardiff City manager in January 2014.

Though he was sacked in September as he returned to Molde, before heading back to Man United.

He's a free agent amid reports of an offer to become the head coach of the Norway women's national team.
