Manchester United have already settled on their next two transfer targets after agreeing terms with Jarrad Branthwaite, according to a report.

It's set to be a busy summer transfer window for Man United as they look to make major changes to their squad ahead of the new season.

According to The Telegraph, Man United are hoping to strike a deal with Everton for Branthwaite after agreeing personal terms with the highly-rated defender.

Branthwaite, 21, starred for Everton last season and impressed at the back, attracting interest from the like of the Red Devils.

Everton want a transfer fee of at least £70 million, which is significantly higher than Man United's valuation as they are hoping a compromise can be met.

The budding centre-back was identified by the club as a primary transfer target following the departure of Raphael Varane.

Branthwaite may not be the only new defender who arrives at Old Trafford this summer.

Should Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof leave the club, then Man United will pursue a deal for Leny Yoro, who has already hinted at who he could join amid intense transfer speculation.

The Lille starlet is also liked by Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain as the 18-year-old has a year left on his current deal.

Man United also have 'strong interest' in Joshua Zirkzee as they look to acquire another forward following Anthony Martial's exit.

Rasmus Hojlund is the club's only out and out forward, with Bologna's Zirkzee one of their targets.

They are among several clubs considering triggering his £33.8 million release clause.

AC Milan and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, who scored 11 league goals last season.

The report also claims that Man United have a net budget of around £50 million plus whatever they can raise through sales this summer.
