Manchester United will look to sell Jadon Sancho this summer and have named their price for the out-of-favour winger.

Sancho joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, finally securing their target after forking out £73 million from his services.

But the 24-year-old struggled to replicate his Dortmund form in the Premier League and ended up back on loan at Signal Iduna Park in January after refusing to apologise to Erik ten Hag for a statement made on social media in September.

He helped Dortmund reach the Champions League final against Real Madrid, ultimately losing 2-0 at Wembley.

There had been plenty of curiosity as to whether Sancho would get another shot at United, particularly with speculation over Ten Hag's future at the club.

But according to Simon Stone from the BBC, Sancho will not be afforded another opportunity even if the club make a managerial change.

United are willing to accept offers of £40 million for Sancho, whose contract is due to expire in 2026.

Dortmund want to keep him but would prefer a loan deal given their financial limits.

United are adamant that they will only do a straight sale as the £40 million would go a long way to helping them spend within Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

Clubs in Europe have expressed interest, with Juventus one of the sides linked with Sancho in the past.

Sancho could well return to United for pre-season if a move is not agreed.

He has not been around the first-team environment ever since he said Ten Hag's comments about him not training well prior to a trip to Arsenal were "completely untrue".

Instead, Sancho was banished to the Under 18's but is said to have been a "delight" and "top professional" during his time with the academy players.

He has played 82 times for United, scoring 12 goals.
