Manchester United are considering signing one of Rasmus Hojlund’s former Atalanta team-mates, it has been claimed.
Hojlund has struggled since securing a £72million move to United this summer.
While the 20-year-old has netted a respectable six goals across all competitions, only one of those strikes has come in the Premier League.

And it appears United may look to bring in one of the Dane’s former Atalanta colleagues to partly help him settle.
Goal Brazil has claimed United are targeting 24-year-old midfielder Ederson.
The Brazilian signed for Atalanta from Salernitana for around £12million in the 2022 summer window, the same year Hojlund arrived at the club from Copenhagen.
Ederson, who has played 23 times for Atalanta this term, scoring five goals, began his career at Deportivo Brasil, United’s former partner club in South America.
United have allegedly made contact with the midfielder’s representatives and the possibility of a transfer is said to have been discussed internally.

The club are reportedly doing their due diligence, and as per Goal Brazil, the situation could progress in the coming days.
United could be preparing for Casemiro's exit this year, with the 31-year-old strongly linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia in the summer after a disappointing second season at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen, also 31, will also require a replacement this year or next.
Bringing in a new midfielder is likely to be one of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's impending INEOS structure's first recruitment tasks.

Elsewhere, Donny van de Beek has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season. The Bundesliga side have the option to make the deal permanent for £12million at the season’s close.
Meanwhile, Sergio Reguilon has also returned to Tottenham Hotspur after United triggered the break clause in his season-long loan, while Jadon Sancho is reportedly closing in on a Borussia Dortmund return.
