The majority of Manchester United's first-team squad were listed as free agents in EA FC 24's career mode – and the experiment makes for interesting reading.

TikTok user Mazza783 conducted the simulation on EA FC 24 this week, with a total of 26 players featuring on the hypothetical free agent list.

To kick things off, 86-rated goalkeeper Andre Onana was quickly snapped up by Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, who have signed Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic in real life this summer.

Diogo Dalot earned himself a move to Borussia Dortmund after being released, while 81-rated centre-back Victor Lindelof joined Real Betis. Harry Maguire, meanwhile, penned a deal with Everton.

In the midfield stakes, Christian Eriksen left England to join Serie A side Juventus and United captain Bruno Fernandes signed on the dotted line with Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

Scott McTominay, on the other hand, made the move to Italian giants AS Roma to reunite with former manager Jose Mourinho, who memorably gave the Scot his Old Trafford debut.

Marcus Rashford decided to remain in the Premier League with Newcastle and perhaps most surprisingly of all, £72 million summer signing Rasmus Hojlund signed for Aston Villa.

Here is the list in full:

Andre Onana - Al Nassr
