Manchester United fans have identified an issue with Bryan Mbeumo in their opening weekend defeat to Arsenal.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to the Gunners at Old Trafford, with Riccardo Calafiori scoring the only goal of the game from a Declan Rice corner which Altay Bayandir flapped at.
There were plenty of encouraging signs in defeat for United, with new signings Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha full of energy and excitement in their competitive debuts.
Manager Ruben Amorim liked a lot of what he saw and said that his side had proved they "can win any game in the Premier League" if they perform in the same vein.

But while there was plenty of positivity from a United perspective, a potential problem was spotted by fans regarding Mbeumo.
The Cameroonian, who scored 20 goals last season, lined up on the right of a front three and looked to cut in one his trusty left foot.

Diogo Dalot started as a right wing-back before being replaced by the more attack-minded Amad Diallo in the 55th minute.

The Ivory Coast international came up with big moments in what was collectively a poor campaign for the club last season and has proved to be one of United's most dangerous players under Amorim.
The decision to not start him came as a surprise but having seen what happened when he entered the fray, many fans have started to form an explanation as to why.
Plenty online felt that Amad and Mbeumo did not work as a combination as they were too similar in coming in off the right with their left foot and took up the same space.
One fan on X commented: "Mbeumo and Amad combo can't work, please!!!"

A second said: "Jeeezzz, I thought I've been the only one saying this...bro I start Dalot over Amad at any time at that RWB...immediately Amad came up, we stopped playing wide man."
A third agreed: "Amad and Mbuemo just always want to be in the same spot man."
A fourth stated: "Lots questioning on why Amorim play Dalot instead of Amad before. And now they know why. The difference is there when Dalot overlap at the outside and create space for Mbeumo to cut inside meanwhile Amad always overlaps inside and creates limited space for Mbeumo to cut inside.
A final user added: "We looked more balanced with Dalot at RWB. Amad had a good cameo but him and Mbeumo want to cut in and shoot, none of them wants to receive the ball on their right to cross."
