Man Utd fans concerned as damning training footage emerges ahead of Bayern Munich clash

Man Utd fans are concerned after damning training footage has been shared ahead of their crunch Champions League game.

Manchester United fans have grown concerned after footage of the team training was shared online.

United face Bayern Munich at Old Trafford this week and must win the game to have any chance of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Erik ten Hag's side also need Copenhagen and Galatasaray to draw their game for them to secure an unlikely qualification.

Most have given the Red Devils little to no chance of reaching the next stage, but they will fancy their chances amid a good run of form, despite a heavy defeat to Bournemouth at the weekend.

Footage showed United involved in a passing drill in training on Monday and fans have been sceptical following the footage.

In a 26 second video shared by Andy Mitten, the players pass the ball out of play three times in the drill.

Firstly, Victor Lindelof is seen wrapped up and passes a high ball over Luke Shaw's head as the drill re-starts.

Coach Steve McClaren can be seen getting the session back underway, but it soon stops again due to Alejandro Garnacho's mis-placed pass.

The session is then back underway again, but once again quickly stopped, with Diogo Dalot to blame for the error.

Fans were quick to jump on the backs of the players on social media ahead of the club's big game on Tuesday.

"Our performances make sense now," one user said on X.

"They can't even complete 3 passes?" Another queried. "That's a shockingly poor clip. 13-year-olds can do a better rondo than this and I'm not even overreacting."

A third added: "They can't string 5 passes, how are we going to control games?", while a fourth said: "Doesn't seem tactical to me. ETH needs to do better."

United are currently sixth in the Premier League table with nine wins and seven losses from their first 16 matches.

They are six points behind Manchester City in fourth, though it is possible fifth will be enough for the Champions League.

A supercomputer, however, recently predicted United would finish eighth and endure their worst-ever Premier League season.
