One Manchester United star could reportedly miss the rest of the 24/25 season through injury.

Heading into Sunday's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur, United were hit with a triple injury blow.

The likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are likely to miss Sunday’s fixture as they all suffered injuries in training this week.

In addition, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans and Lisandro Martinez all remain sidelined due to injury.

Argentine defender Martinez is expected to miss the rest of the campaign after suffering a serious knee injury during the 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace.

To make matters worse, it was claimed on Saturday afternoon that winger Amad Diallo could also miss the rest of the season.

As reported by the Daily Mail's Chris Wheeler, who wrote on social media: "Exclusive: Amad Diallo could miss the rest of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage in training ++ still being assessed but faces lengthy layoff ++ Mainoo out for a number of weeks and Ugarte and Collyer to miss Spurs too."

Meanwhile, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote: "Amad Diallo set to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury, confirmed.

"Man United star suffered the injury earlier this week, he’s expected to be unavailable for the next 3 months. Big blow for United and Rúben Amorim."

The injury to Amad has come at the worst possible time, especially after United sent the likes of Antony and Marcus Rashford out on loan during the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, fellow winger Jadon Sancho was shipped out to Chelsea during the summer window.

United have experienced another tough season as they currently sit 13th in the Premier League table, 28 points behind leaders Liverpool.

United have matches against the likes of Everton, Ipswich Town, Fulham, Arsenal and Leicester City on the horizon after Sunday's clash against Spurs.
