Luke Shaw makes appearance in viral TikTok video with Molly-Mae Hague and it's left fans stunned

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has made a short appearance in a viral TikTok video - and it left fans shocked.

The England international is currently recovering from his latest injury setback after returning from a calf problem in December.

He missed the entirety of the festive fixture calendar, and an exact return date has not been given.

Injuries have plagued the 28-year-old throughout the past 12 months and has only made six appearances for club and country, including the Euro 2024 final, since February.

Over the New Year, Shaw and his girlfriend Anouska Santos partied with close friend Molly-Mae Hague - the former partner of Tommy Fury.

A video from the party was posted on TikTok and went viral, featuring several people lip-syncing the words to a song titled 'Mugshot' - a latest trending song released by Pete and Bas on the video-sharing platform.

And fans who didn't know Shaw was at the party were shocked to see the United defender make a very brief appearance at the 11-second mark.

The video, which also features Molly-Mae, racked up many thousands of views on the platform - though now no longer appears visible - and a post on Twitter has hit 1.2 million.

Reacting to seeing Shaw in the video, one fan wrote: "This is one of the funniest tweets I've seen man."

Another said: "I never saw this coming lmao."

A third wrote: "I thought you were talking about the guy who looks like Amorim until HE showed up."

And a fourth said: "He's the only one who could properly lip sync."

Some fans called out Shaw for the video, but other fans defended him, with one stating: "I tore my ACL. Took a very long time to recover and I was desperate to play again. I still went out with friends. Not sure how this [any criticism] makes any kind of point?"
