Luke Littler has named his dream signing for Manchester United.

The 16-year-old announced himself to the world during the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship after a dream run to the final.

Littler was denied the title after losing 7-4 to world number one Luke Humphries in the final.

Despite the defeat, the teenager has become one of the biggest names in the sport and is tipped to be a multiple world champion in the future.

The teenager from Warrington has also earned himself a place in the 2024 Premier League of Darts, where he will be up against seven of the best players in the world.

During his magical run to the final, Littler revealed to the world that he is a United fan.

A day after his match against Humphries, Littler revealed his dream signing for the Old Trafford club after admitting he doesn’t know how to buy players on the popular video game, Football Manager.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “To be fair, I didn't even know how to buy players, so I just kept the same line up.

“We’ve just signed Rasmus Hojlund for loads of money, but I’d probably go and get (Victor) Osimhen from Napoli. One of the big ones.”

Napoli star Victor Osimhen was linked with a move to United but the Red Devils’ dream of landing the striker was dashed when club president Aurelio de Laurentiis declared that he will not sell for less than £200 million.

Some of United’s stars from the past and the present have also sent Littler messages during these last few weeks.

Littler said: “It’s been crazy. I was watching (United) on the TV and now they watch me on the TV as well! It’s crazy that they’re watching me.

“My girlfriend got us a stadium tour for two people, so I’ll be doing that when we can.”
