Ian Wright has called out Manchester United for their poor performance in a 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.

The former Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker was analysing United's performance on Match of the Day and was far from impressed.

A mistake from goalkeeper Andre Onana led to a late Burnley penalty to earn a much-needed point for the relegation-threatened Clarets.

There was a good performance from Red Devils winger Antony, who reacted well to a Burnley mistake to open the scoring.

But pundit Wright felt that Burnley were unlucky not to win the game at Old Trafford.

He also highlighted a particular moment where United midfielder Casemiro allowed Sander Berge to just walk past him.

"If you’re playing against Man United, you’re probably going to get opportunities," said Wright on Match of the Day.

"This is just how easy you can get past the midfield [of Man United], this is Sander Berge with Casemiro. He’s just got to stop and not let him come through, but he [Berge] has just walked past him.

"They’ve had more possession than United at Old Trafford. Burnley. Second from bottom. I think they were very unlucky not to win this game."

United recently scraped through an FA Cup semi-final clash against Championship Coventry City after surrendering a 3-0 lead they managed to win on penalties.

Pressure continues to mount on United boss Ten Hag with boos coming from the stands multiple times during the game and after the full-time whistle.

The club have recently appointed a new technical director Jason Wilcox who will have a huge say in the future of the Dutch manager this summer.

Despite a second successive cup final, however, many believe that the writing is on the wall for Ten Hag, particularly given that new minitory owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe didn't appoint him.

Whether he stays or goes, it will be yet another huge summer for the Red Devils.
