Manchester United legend Gary Neville's hilarious best man speech at David Beckham's wedding has gone viral after footage reemerged on the new Netflix documentary.

Beckham, a four-part documentary series, was released on Netflix earlier this week.

The show follows Beckham's life as franchise owner of Inter Miami, as well as delving into his family life and marriage with Victoria.

There have been plenty of amusing moments from the documentary, such as when David hilariously ripped into Victoria for claiming that she grew up working class.

Or when former United teammate Roy Keane provided an incredible anecdote about Beckham's spending habits.

However, few clips have made viewers laugh more than Neville's best man speech at the former Real Madrid star's wedding.

Neville was Beckham's best man when he married Spice Girls member Victoria back in July 1999, shortly after the Red Devils won a historic treble.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side became the first English team to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in one season.

United came back from the brink of defeat to snatch an iconic 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the European Cup final thanks to a late goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And Neville used the dramatic victory to help write his best man speech, with the Netflix series sharing a clip from the reception.

Neville said: "We have got some distinguished guests present ladies and gentlemen.

"David said the Spice Girls requested that the Bayern Munich team be present today and David said he was puzzled at this request and asked why.

"The Spice Girls replied they wanted to meet any man who can be on top for 90 minutes and still come second.”

Viewers were left in stitches at the joke, with one fan tweeting: "The Beckham documentary on Netflix is so good. Crying at Gary Neville's best man speech."

"Gary Neville smashed that best man speech at Beckham's wedding," another added.

"Gary Neville’s best man speech at Beckham's wedding is absolutely priceless," a third chimed in.

"Gary Neville’s best man speech is iconic!!" a fourth remarked.

While another wrote: "Seen the first two episodes so far… Struggle to imagine there could be a better scene than Gary Neville’s best man speech."
