With United facing an uphill battle to qualify for Europe, the pressure will be firmly on the Dutchman as he faces an uncertain future.

According to the latest odds, former Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is the favourite to take over if United decide to part ways with Ten Hag.

The 50-year-old German, who is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks and is now priced at 2/1 to become the Red Devils’ new manager.

After Tuchel, England manager Gareth Southgate is second favourite at 3/1, with ex-Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter third at 5/1.
