Manchester United fans have called on Erik ten Hag to give one player a chance in the first team.

So far, United have had a dismal season as they currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.

In Europe, the Red Devils are yet to win in the UEFA Europa League after drawing against FC Twente and FC Porto.

Manager Ten Hag is under increasing pressure as questions are being asked again on whether he is the right man to lead the club forward.

In addition, United are faced with a mini-injury crisis at full-back after the injury to Luke Shaw and Noussair Mazraoui’s medical problem.

Diogo Dalot is the only fully fit full-back that Ten Hag can choose from.

As a result, United fans have called on the club to make a U-turn on youngster Harry Amass.

As reported by The Athletic, United feel Amass, 17, is ‘not yet ready for the physicality of first-team football’.

However, it is suggested that United rate the youngster highly having shown what he can do during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “I think it’s high time we give Harry Amass a chance in this Manchester United team…”

Another tweeted: “Been saying since summer, tired of saying it now.”

A third fan added: “ETH has blood on his hands for not giving this boy a chance when there’s lack of depth at LB.”

Someone else wrote: “Harry Amass deserves the chance now since Dalot is the only fullback left.”

A fifth commented: “Erik ten Hag must give Harry Amass his chance.”

Another fan said: “It’s time to give Harry Amass a chance in the first team. The youngster has potential, and this could be his moment to shine.”

United will return to Premier League action next weekend when they welcome Brentford to Old Trafford.
