Bruno Fernandes has revealed the details of a conversation he had with Cristiano Ronaldo regarding his Manchester United future.
During the summer transfer window, United talisman Fernandes was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
It was widely reported that Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal were interested in bringing the Red Devils skipper to the Middle East.
Despite being presented with a hugely lucrative contract, Fernandes ended up rejecting the offer and opted to stay with United.

Under Ruben Amorim this season, United have again experienced a mixed start, but are on a two-match winning streak after beating Sunderland and arch-rivals Liverpool.
Ahead of this weekend's fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion, Fernandes spoke honestly about the summer's transfer saga.
Having been the subject of a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, Fernandes decided to speak to Portugal legend Ronaldo, who currently plays in the Middle East for Al Nassr.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Fernandes revealed what Ronaldo's first words to him were.

He said: "The first thing he said to me, 'are you too expensive for the club?' I said 'there is no-one too expensive for that club'!
"I spoke with Cristiano about the situation, about Saudi and everything. Cristiano had his opinion on what I should do and it was important for me to hear what he thought."
Despite rejecting the offer this summer, Fernandes refused to close the door on a potential exit next year, but the subject will be on hold until after the 2026 World Cup.

Fernandes added: "I don't think they were very happy for me to reject the offer, obviously. I accept that, because the offer was very good in terms of salary. Everything was massive for me. It was a huge difference.
"I've seen a lot of people talking that I had an agreement to go already next season. If the club has done that agreement, it wasn't made with me. My agent also knows how I work. If he wants to talk to me, it will be after the World Cup. Because until then, I won't speak to anyone."
