Casemiro went off on one of his Manchester United teammates in previously unseen footage from the Chelsea game.

Man United were held 1-1 at home to Chelsea on Sunday in Ruud van Nistelrooy's second game in charge following Erik ten Hag's dismissal.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the spot in the 70th minute as Moises Caicedo levelled proceedings just four minutes later.

Man United and Chelsea had openings afterwards to score a winner but both teams failed to take their chances.

Alejandro Garnacho was guilty of fluffing his side's best opportunity as he lost the possession in the attacking third.

He was unable to retrieve the ball, with Casemiro eventually fouling Pedro Neto, resulting in a yellow card.

Casemiro was absolutely furious with Garnacho and gave him an on-field dressing down as he berated his young teammate.

Footage of the incident between Casemiro and Garnacho emerged on social media after the Premier League fixture, with fans on social media backing the veteran midfielder's outburst.

One X user wrote: "We need more of this from players and the new manager. Too many players not taking accountability for their actions."

A second tweeted: "This is what have been saying....Garna and Amad are kids, their quality isn't enough to be starting for Man Utd but we keep treating them like an established players. We need top quality player they can learn from."

A third added: "Can’t blame him, he’s a serial winner. Trying to get a win and had to pass backwards? Awful."

A fourth commented: "This is leadership on the pitch. You need it for young players. Ten Hag embarrassed the supposed leaders on the pitch and made them the problem."

A fifth said: "At this level you can’t be losing the ball and failing to track back.. But Garnacho is young, he will learn and will be day be one of the best in the league."

Man United's point against Chelsea moves them above West Ham United to 13th place in the table.
