A visibly frustrated Bruno Fernandes was among the first players to leave Old Trafford on Saturday after Manchester United threw away a one-goal lead against 10-man Tottenham.
It was an evening to forget for Fernandes, who produced a performance well below his usual high standards.
In fact, it took Fernandes 23 minutes to complete his first pass against Roberto De Zerbi's side, a stat that sums up what was an unusually subdued performance from the United captain.

Michael Carrick reacts to Old Trafford boo's at full-time
Speaking in his post-match interview, United head coach Michael Carrick admitted he was 'hurt' by the boos at full-time after United made it four games without a win in all competitions.
"It's not nice, it hurts a lot because I care about this club," he said on the boos. "But I understand the disappointment, the reality is what it is, we need to get back to winning games."
Carrick also touched on the performance of his players, adding: "It was a mixed game. We found it tough to start with. For a number of reasons, we were not quite there. You could see it was a challenging time.
"But the lads grew into the game, in the second half I thought we were better in everything.
"To get the game as we wanted it, in such a good position - we should see it through. We have to manage those situations. That's two late goals which have hurt us, and things look very different. That's the reality," he added.
