A late goal from Dominic Solanke cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo's opener as Tottenham earned their first point of the Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Given their underwhelming start to the campaign, few would have expected Tottenham to take control in the opening stages, but the visitors enjoyed large spells of possession at Old Trafford.
In fact, Roberto De Zerbi's side should have been two or three ahead at the break, with Dominic Solanke and Conor Gallagher failing to convert two relatively easy chances.

Michael Carrick's side struggled to match Tottenham's intensity levels and, not for the first time this season, questions were raised over their fitness levels, despite having three weeks to prepare during the international break.
Ultimately, Spurs should have won this by a three or four-goal margin, but they will be happy with a point after a 92nd-minute equaliser from Dominic Solanke cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo's opener.
Manchester United player ratings
Senne Lammens β 6/10
Lacked his usual composure when playing out from the back. Made some important saves, though. On another day, he could have conceded a handful.
Leny Yoro β 7.5/10
United's standout performer. Not entirely convinced his future lies at right-back given how well he performed for France on Monday. Deserves to keep his spot for the Atletico game.
Harry Maguire β 5.5/10
Too many hospital passes into midfield. Looked uncomfortable in possession and struggled to cope with Tottenham's high press. Yoro deserves to be given a chance at centre-back.
Lisandro MartΓnez β 5.5/10
A forgettable performance from the Argentine. Had the most touches of any player on the pitch but was at fault for Tottenham's equaliser.
Luke Shaw β 6/10
Struggled to deal with Mohammed Kudus at times. An average outing from the left-back.
Youri Tielemans β 4/10
United were dominated in midfield for much of the game. Tielemans needs someone with legs next to him, or gaps will appear in United's midfield. Decent in possession, but fitness appears to be an issue.

Kobbie Mainoo β 6/10
Struggled alongside Tielemens in the opening hour but looked far more comfortable alongside Carlos Baleba.
Amad β 5/10
A quiet afternoon on his first competitive start of the season.
Bruno Fernandes β 4/10
It took Fernandes 23 minutes to complete his first pass against Tottenham, a stat that sums up one of his poorest performances in a United shirt for some time. Uncharacteristically sloppy.
Matheus Cunha β 6/10
Like the majority of his teammates, Cunha struggled in the first-half but was far better in the second and bagged an assist for Mbeumo.
Bryan Mbeumo β 7/10
A great finish to open the scoring. Looks United's biggest threat in front of goal.
Substitutes
Joshua Zirkzee β 6.5/10
Made an impact after replacing Amad. One of his better performances, even though it was only a 30-minute cameo.
Diogo Dalot β 6/10
Carrick deserves credit for his substitutions. Dalot has been slated for his displays of late, but showed promising signs against Roberto De Zerbi's side.
Carlos Baleba β 7/10
An encouraging display from a player who could prove crucial to United's success this season. Made an immediate impact in midfield after replacing the struggling Tielemans.
