Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana lashed out at a fan who invaded the pitch following Cameroon's 1-0 defeat to Cape Verde in World Cup qualifying.
It has been an uncertain time for the out-of-favour Onana, who is reportedly on the verge of leaving Old Trafford to join Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal.
The 29-year-old was dropped for their opening three Premier League games against Arsenal, Fulham and Burnley, with last season's second-choice Altay Bayindir being preferred.
And the former Ajax and Inter Milan goalkeeper has fallen even further down the pecking order following the £18 million arrival of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on deadline day.

With his next move on the horizon, Onana made headlines again on Tuesday after his positioning for Cape Verde's winner was questioned by many.

As you can see from the screenshot above, he decided against closing down goalscorer Dailon Livramento, who sent Onana the wrong way with an accomplished finish from close range.
Cape Verde, meanwhile, are just one win away from qualifying for their first ever World Cup, and after the full-time whistle, hundreds of supporters invaded the pitch to celebrate.

A fan soon made his way over to Onana and appeared to try and get a selfie with the United shot-stopper, who proceeded to push him away with his hand. The fan in question then appears to throw a water bottle at the goalkeeper.
Premier League club rejected chance to sign Andre Onana
Onana has been strongly linked with a move this summer, but a lack of suitors has been apparent.

Ligue 1 side Monaco were believed to be one of the only clubs to register an interest, according to The Athletic, but when they found out he would cost a minimum of £30 million, they declined to proceed.
West Ham, meanwhile, turned down the opportunity to sign Onana as they believed he is no better than the crop of keepers they already have, as per the Mail.
Mads Hermansen arrived at the London Stadium for a reported £18 million from Leicester City this summer, while Alphonse Areola joined from PSG in the summer of 2022 for £11 million.
