7 Man Utd players could be sold after Grimsby humiliation as Ruben Amorim gets ruthless

It could be a busy end to the transfer window at Old Trafford.

Manchester United face a busier-than-usual end to the window as several high-profile names continue to be linked with a move away.

So far, United have spent over £200 million this summer, with Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbuemo and Benjamin Sesko all arriving ahead of United's Premier League opener against Arsenal.

Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens looks set to be their next signing in a deal worth £17.3 million, while Carlos Baleba continues to be linked, despite Brighton being keen to keep hold of their biggest asset.

In terms of outgoings, United could be about to make a hefty amount, with several first-team players set to leave after months of speculation.

Here are seven deals that may happen before the window slams shut on September 1, with those included in the so-called 'bomb squad' featuring alongside academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo.

Jadon Sancho

Sancho, like the rest of the so-called 'bomb squad', has been searching for a club all summer. A host of teams have been linked, including Juventus, Spurs, Besiktas and former club Borussia Dortmund.

Serie A side Roma appear to be the most likely destination with days remaining of the window. The Giallorossi are willing to offer €23 million for Sancho, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. It could well be his final opportunity to leave Old Trafford.

Antony

A number of clubs have since expressed an interest in signing Antony this summer, including Villarreal, Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen – a team managed by former boss Erik ten Hag.

But the winger prefers a move to Real Betis and has made that abundantly clear in recent months. A new report from The Sun suggests Betis are expected to buy the Brazilian winger for £33 million.

Altay Bayindir

With United being linked with a move for Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens, it appears the future of Altay Bayindir has become uncertain ahead of the upcoming transfer deadline.

Bayindir is attracting interest but has recently turned down a move to Galatasaray, as per Turkish Football.

Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea are close to signing Alejandro Garnacho in a deal worth between £35-£40 million, as per The Telegraph.

The 21-year-old, who fell out with Ruben Amorim after being dropped for the Europa League final, is 'very optimistic' about joining Enzo Maresca's side, according to Fabrizio Romano.

"Chelsea expects the Alejandro Garnacho deal to happen," said Romano on his YouTube channel this week. "I think we will have a 'Here We Go' this week. The player feels this deal will happen."

Rasmus Hojlund

Hojlund is another player who appears to be on the verge of leaving United, with Napoli leading the race to sign the Danish forward on a loan deal with an obligation to buy for around €45 million (£38.8m).

A report from Sky Sport Italy suggests Napoli are aiming to reach an agreement with United before next week's deadline and are ‘confident’ a deal can be finalised.

Tyrell Malacia

It appears Malacia is finally moving closer to an Old Trafford exit.

La Liga side Elche are said to be interested in signing the full-back on a loan deal, according to Matteo Moretto, while a report from Voetbal International suggests the Spanish club held talks with the player on Monday.

Malacia is said to be 'enthusiastic' about the move.

Kobbie Mainoo

Mainoo is open to leaving United and has a 'preferred' move in mind as we enter the final days of this summer's window.

A number of clubs from around Europe have expressed an interest in signing the player, who started against Grimsby on Wednesday after being an unused subsitute in United's opening two games of the season against Arsenal and Fulham.

Real Madrid and local rivals Atletico are said to be monitoring his situation in the remaining days of the window, as per the Mail.

He is thought to prefer a move to the continent rather than a Premier League stay, according to The Athletic.
