Brighton aimed a brutal taunt at Manchester United on social media following their sensational 3-1 victory on Saturday.

The Seagulls registered yet another big win at Old Trafford, having beat Man United at home last season too.

In the 2022/23 campaign, Brighton beat Man United 2-1, with Roberto De Zerbi's side going one better this season as they beat Erik ten Hag's team 3-1.

Goals from Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro ensured their win on the road as they move into fourth place in the table.

After the result, Brighton violated Man United on X, formerly Twitter, as they mocked their counterparts.

On X, they wrote: "Back to back @PremierLeague wins here. We just love playing at Old Trafford."

Brighton have 12 points on the board following their victory over the Red Devils.

And speaking after the game, De Zerbi touched on the suffering his side dealt with in the opening 20 minutes.

"In the first 15, 20 minutes we suffered a lot because Man United played in a different way than we prepared for but after that we played a great game," he said.

Asked how Brighton can comfortably beat Man United, he replied: "Too difficult this question. Quality of players very high, organisation of club, possibility to manage two players per position. I don't know problem of Man United, I can explain my team. We're used to working our style."
