A supercomputer has predicted Manchester United to finish in their worst-ever position in the Premier League if their poor form continues.

After a busy summer transfer window which resulted in the signings of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojund, United were expected to challenge the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the table.

However, Erik ten Hag’s men have had another difficult start after collecting just 12 points from their opening eight league matches.

Now, a supercomputer, via King Casino Bonus, has predicted the final Premier League table.

City are expected to pip Liverpool to the title with Arsenal finishing third and Brighton finishing fourth to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history.

If their poor form continues, United will finish in ninth place, which will be their worst-ever season in the Premier League era.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are predicted to qualify for the Europa League and Newcastle United will be in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will finish in a poor 10th place in what will be a poor first season under Mauricio Pochettino.

According to the supercomputer, Everton will be relegated from the Premier League for the first time along with Bournemouth and newly promoted Luton Town.

United are set to take on Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Saturday night before taking on City in the Manchester derby next weekend.

Where do you think United will finish this season? Let us know in the comments.
