Pep Guardiola delivered an X-rated response to a question about the popularity of his Manchester City team.

Heading into the final weekend of the 23/24 Premier League season, City are in pole position to win their fourth successive titles.

The reigning champions sit two points ahead of Arsenal ahead of their final match against West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Guardiola was asked whether people like his City team.

The Spaniard then delivered an X-rated response. You can watch the footage below.

He said: “F**k! I don’t know.”

City are currently being investigated over 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League's Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, dating back to 2009 and running until 2018.

Last month, it was reported that the hearing for City’s charges could happen in the near future.

As reported by Daily Telegraph Sport Investigation reporter Ben Rumsby, who wrote on social media: “Richard Masters says the hearing into Manchester City's 115 charges will take place in the "near future". Closest he has come to indicating a date.”

Guardiola was also asked about his previous title wins with City.

He said: “Don't ask me to choose between the five #PL titles that we won. All of them were so difficult, a lot of effort behind, and after the game on Sunday, ask me my feelings. My feeling now is all about West Ham, there is no contamination in my brain...

“Knowing the #ManCity players, they never, never give up. We haven't seen them since the day after Spurs, and we see today how is my vibe seeing the players. But I have the feeling they are there, trying to win the #PL again…”

The City boss also reminded his players that nothing is done yet, Guardiola added: “If you think Everton are going to do something [against Arsenal] tomorrow, forget about it...

“They [#ManCity's players] know it's win or win, otherwise Arsenal will be #PL Champions…”
