Manchester City's hearing with the Premier League over 115 alleged breaches has CONCLUDED.

That's according to The Daily Mail, who report that closing arguments in a case with huge ramifications for English football were completed on Friday.

A three-man panel will now consider the evidence before delivering a verdict in the 'coming months'.

Proceedings began on September 16 in secret following a lengthy investigation into Man City, who have won the league title four years in a row.

The Premier League have accused Man City of multiple breaches of financial rules and of failing to co-operate with a subsequent investigation.

The 115 charges mainly relate to a nine-year period from 2009 to 2018, with the defending champions accused of various alleged rule breaches - all of which the club deny.

Should the Blues be found guilty, then they could be hit with huge financial penalties, points deduction or even relegation.

However, it is very likely that each side would launch an appeal against the forthcoming verdict, meaning a final decision may not be delivered until the end of next season.

Speaking in September, Pep Guardiola said he believes 'everyone' wants Man City to disappear off the earth amid their legal battle with the Premier League.

"I am sorry to say I always want to defend my club - especially in these modern days," he said in a press conference earlier this year. "It’s like everyone doesn’t expect us to be not just relegated, they want us to disappear off the face of the earth.

"I would say we have had many better days than our opponents – and that’s why we win a lot. It’s not complicated."

This season, Man City have already lost four league games and are eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool at this early stage.
