Erling Haaland is reportedly the subject of strong interest from a club who tried their best to humiliate him.
Haaland has been in phenomenal form this season, with 19 goals in 15 games for Manchester City in all competitions.
Having bagged his 99th goal in his 108th Premier League appearance against Liverpool, Haaland is quickly approaching a century of strikes in the English top flight and is on course to do so in record fashion.
Arguably the best striker in the world, the Norwegian sensation has been linked with a shock switch to European champions Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Fichajes, PSG have made Haaland a priority transfer for the summer window.
PSG won a historic treble under Luis Enrique last term and primarily played without a recognised No.9. However, reports claim they are pondering a €200 million move for Haaland, with PSG "determined to send a powerful message to the market and regain the media presence it lost with Mbappe's departure".
It's said that PSG are "betting on the most decisive player in the world in the penalty area" but the chances of pulling off a mega deal appear slim, with City having no intention of letting their talisman go and considering him "untouchable".
Though it was previously suggested that Haaland would move around Europe to play in different leagues, he committed his future to City by signing a stunning long-term contract which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium in 2034.
Haaland's PSG animosity
In addition, there is also the fact that Haaland was widely mocked by PSG back in 2020. Then at Borussia Dortmund, Haaland scored a stunning brace against PSG in a Champions League round of 16 first leg clash.

When PSG overturned the tie in the second leg and progressed to the quarter finals, Neymar trolled Haaland by performing his meditation celebration after scoring and then virtually the entire squad followed suit afterwards - both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Haaland's father branded PSG "classless” but the striker took it in his stride and responded in typical fashion, telling ESPN: "I think [PSG] helped me a lot to get meditation out in the world and to show the whole world that meditation is an important thing so I’m thankful that they helped me with that.”
Haaland returns to action on Saturday when City travel to Newcastle for a 5:30 kick-off. Pep Guardiola's men find themselves four points behind Arsenal after 11 games.
