Fans have spotted what Erling Haaland did after Manchester City scored a last-gasp equaliser against Arsenal.

On Sunday afternoon, reigning champions City welcomed the Gunners to the Etihad Stadium.

The two teams played out an entertaining encounter after Haaland gave City the lead before Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes made it 2-1 at half-time.

With seconds remaining, City salvaged a draw as John Stones scored from close range.

After the goal, footage of Haaland emerged on social media, the video showed the City striker throwing the ball at an Arsenal player. You can watch the footage below.

Speaking on Sky Sports, former Arsenal man Paul Merson said: "A shame for Arsenal, City ran out if ideas, they looked like they ran out of ideas, Arsenal did brilliantly, but now they will look back and wonder.

"At the start of the game you would have taken a draw, so fair play to Arsenal. I was quite shocked with Man City today in how they ran out of ideas."

Meanwhile, former City man Micah Richards praised Arsenal’s defenders.

He said: "Gabriel and Saliba were unbelievable. To defend like that for 45 minutes in the second half against the best team in the league is remarkable.

"When Gabriel came to Arsenal he was making a few mistakes, but he has changed his game to be reliable."

City boss Pep Guardiola said: "Give credit to Arsenal, they were really good... We were so smart to make quick actions. We were so smart to not concede fouls. The game continued and continued.

On Arsenal's first goal, Guardiola added: "The referee asked the captain to go there. We have to organise better… Apart from that we were well set up, Kyle arrived in the position and Calafiori made an exceptional goal."

As a result of the draw, City returned to the top of the league, one point ahead of Liverpool.
