Viewers have been left all saying the same thing after Liverpool were awarded a penalty against Brighton on Sunday.

After a VAR check, the Reds were gifted a penalty following a pull on Dominik Szoboszlai's shirt.

And those watching reckon VAR were making amends for their mistakes during Liverpool's last outing against Tottenham.

During Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham, Luis Diaz had a goal incorrectly chalked off for offside, with the PGMOL subsequently releasing audio of the error.

The error has caused mass uproar amongst supporters, who have been left shocked at the continual failures of the technology.

Meanwhile, rival fans have speculated that VAR awarded Liverpool a penalty to make up for their errors against Tottenham.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Who would have guessed that VAR would give Liverpool a pen this week?"

"Soft penalty given to Liverpool , what a surprise !! Refs and VAR going to give them everything now," another remarked.

"Not a penalty but var will favour Liverpool because of last game," a third chimed in.
