Liverpool fans think they have signed a 'Kylian Mbappe regen' after a surprise transfer was confirmed.
Much to the frustration of supporters, Liverpool had a quiet summer transfer window.
Italian winger Federico Chiesa was the only addition to Arne Slot's squad, arriving from Juventus to the tune of £12.5 million.

Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili completed a £25m move from Valencia, although he will stay in Spain for the remainder of the current season.
Though the window closed on Friday (August 30), on Wednesday (September 4) the Premier League approved Liverpool's signing of highly-rated teenage attacker Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea.
The deal was completed after Liverpool passed the league’s five-step review, standard practice when a young player wishes to move between two category one academies.

Ngumoha made clear his intention to leave Chelsea in July, with Liverpool his preferred destination.
The 16-year-old attacker has penned a normal scholar’s contract and will join Liverpool's under-18 squad.
A tribunal is likely to be needed to determine the final figure of compensation Liverpool owe Chelsea for training and development costs.
On Wednesday evening, Liverpool fans spotted footage on social media of Ngumoha performing solo training drills.

In one video, the youngster performed several rapid step-overs before firing a shot past the goalkeeper.
On X, plenty of Liverpool fans compared his footwork to that of Real Madrid and France superstar Kylian Mbappe.
"Mbappe regen!" one fan wrote, while another commented: "He looks powerful as well as nimble."
Another excited fan said: "Frightening!!!! Let's hope he kicks on," while another replied: "Oi his feet are nuts."

One fan seemed optimistic that Ngumoha will earn some first team minutes under Slot this season.
"He is a new germ adding to the talent already in the b-team squad. Hoping to see more of him when called to FA cup and Carabao Cup matches," the fan wrote.
