Liverpool players were left shocked after finding out what Mohamed Salah’s favourite song is.

After a disappointing 22/23 season, Liverpool are currently gearing up for the 23/24 campaign with a pre-season tour in Singapore.

So far, the Reds have won against Karlsruher and drawn against Greuther Furth.

Ahead of their match against Leicester in Singapore, Ibrahima Konate was tasked with asking players for a song for the tour.

He was left shocked when Salah told him his favourite tune. You can watch the footage below.

Konate was heard saying: “Mohamed Salah, one song for the tour.”

Salah replied: “Eminem, Lose Yourself.”

To which a surprised Konate said: “Oh my God, Trent have you heard what he went for. Oh my God, Eminem.”

The Egyptian said: “That’s my favourite one.”

Other players picked songs such as Meltdown by Travis Scott and Drake, Rodeo Dr by Gunna, Roddy Ricch’s Intro, Del Mar by Ozuna and Belter by Gerry Cinnamon.

On Sunday, Liverpool continued their pre-season tour with a comfortable win over Leicester.

Goals from Darwin Nunez, Bobby Clark, Diogo Jota and Ben Doak sealed a brilliant 4-0 win for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.

Liverpool will be busy in the remainder of the summer transfer window after Jordan Henderson was sold to Saudi Professional League side Al Ettifaq, whilst Fabinho is also closing in on a transfer to Al Ittihad.

Upon leaving the Reds after a 12-year stay, Henderson said: “It’s hard to put these last 12 years into words and it’s even harder to say goodbye. I will always be a Red. Until the day I die.

“Thank you for everything. You’ll never walk alone.”

Liverpool are reportedly targeting Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia and have already had a first bid rejected by the Saints.

After their match against Leicester, Liverpool will face Bayern Munich on Wednesday at the National Stadium in Singapore.
