Dominik Szoboszlai's reaction to Mohamed Salah in training following his sensational outburst against Arne Slot got Liverpool fans talking.

Salah issued a bombshell interview after he was an unused substitute in his side's 3-3 draw against Leeds United on Saturday.

The Liverpool legend claimed he has been 'thrown under the bus' by the club and his relationship with Slot has broken down.

He said: "It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame."

It comes after he has been named on the bench for Liverpool's last three games, with the superstar forward coming on as a substitute in just one of the matches.

Liverpool have reportedly taken drastic action against Salah ahead of their Champions League fixture against Inter Milan in Italy on Tuesday.

Ahead of Liverpool resuming their Champions League campaign, the squad took part in a training session at the club's base on Monday.

The 33-year-old was present and could be seen laughing and joking with Szoboszlai in a moment that didn't go unnoticed among Liverpool supporters on social media.

They referenced Szoboszlai's relationship with Trent Alexander-Arnold and referenced a report from The Athletic suggesting Salah has just a 'few close friends' at Liverpool.

One X user joked: "Szoboszlai loves an outcast doesn’t he. First Trent, now Salah."

A second commented: "Salah laughing and joking along with Szoboszlai during open training."

A third sarcastically added: "But he’s not close to anyone in the squad. Yeah right..."

Another claimed: "They said he only had a 'few close friends' lool. They’re all on salah side."

Salah could also be seen talking to Hugo Ekitike, who covered his mouth during their conversation.

This season, the Egyptian has played 19 games across all competitions, including 13 league appearances.

He has scored five goals this campaign, having bagged an impressive 34 goals in all competitions last season.

Salah is set to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations on December 15.
