A compilation of Liverpool target Wataru Endo has gone viral

Wataru Endo is on the verge of signing for Liverpool.

A stunning compilation of Wataru Endo will excite Liverpool fans as the player is booked for a medical ahead of completing his move to the Premier League club.

The Reds failed in their pursuits of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, with both midfielders opting to sign for rivals Chelsea.

Caicedo joined from Brighton for a British record fee of £115 million while Lavia made the switch from Southampton in a deal worth £58 million.

As a result, Liverpool are looking for targets away from England and have identified Stuttgart midfielder Endo, who is scheduled for a medical on Thursday.

A £15 million deal has been agreed between both clubs as the 30-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool.

Endo will fill the void left by the likes of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who both departed for Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window.

The impending transfer of the Japanese has surprised fans online, with the midfielder fairly unknown to some supporters.

But a compilation of Endo in action for Stuttgart has impressed Liverpool supporters on social media.

The video shows him starring in the middle of the park in the Bundesliga, highlighting his ability on the ball.

He's a solid midfielder and a ball-winner who is capable of picking out a pass. He's comfortable on the ball and has a devilish right foot.

Endo started his professional career at J-League side Shonan Bellmare before moving to Urawa Red Diamonds.

He signed for Belgium outfit STVV then moved to Stuttgart on an initial loan, before making the transfer permanent in 2020, eventually becoming their captain.

He's made 133 appearances for Stuttgart, scoring 15 goals during his time at the club.
