Liverpool fans are convinced they are going to win the Premier League title following the imminent arrival of Wataru Endo.

The Reds are closing in on the signing of Endo from Stuttgart after missing out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who both moved to Chelsea.

The Premier League club have agreed a deal with the 30-year-old midfielder, who has a medical booked today ahead of completing his switch.

He'll be Liverpool's third signing of the summer when the deal crosses the line following the transfers of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

Endo will also be the second Japanese player signed by Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, having snapped up Takumi Minamino in 2019.

In the 2019/20 season, Liverpool went onto win the league title, with fans online drawing parallels with Endo and believing they'll do the same this campaign.

What's more, Klopp had a Japanese player in the shape of Shinji Kagawa during his two title-winning seasons at Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool fans online suddenly like their chances of winning the league ahead of the impending transfer of Endo.

One Twitter user wrote: "Twice at Dortmund with Shinji and once at Liverpool with Taki... Math."

A second tweeted: "Sooooooo you’re telling me there’s a chance."

A third added: "Jurgen Klopp has never won a League title in his career without a Japanese player in his squad... Welcome to LFC, Wataru Endo."

A fourth said: "Endo joining Liverpool... title pending."

Another commented: "Is he going all in on juju with the Endo signing now?"

Klopp won the Bundesliga title in 2011 and 2012, with Kagawa part of his Dortmund squad. The German manager's next league title came in 2020 at Liverpool, with Minamino featured in his squad.
