Liverpool fans massively concerned about seeing what happened in England training ahead of Serbia clash

Liverpool fans are massively concerned after spotting something in England training.

England are set to kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia on Sunday, and reports claim Trent Alexander-Arnold will start in midfield for the Three Lions for the Group C opener.

The Liverpool star, who has struggled to feature for Southgate in his preferred right-back position, has been handed the No.8 shirt for the tournament and is the favourite to start alongside Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham in midfield.

Indeed, while Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham’s relationship on the field will be vital to England’s chances, their good relationship off the pitch has conjured up a lot of anxiety from Liverpool fans.

Alexander-Arnold has just a year remaining on his Reds deal and has been linked to a Real transfer for the past few months.

Liverpool fans were quick to react to a video of Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham in England training, engaging in a special and seemingly well-practised handshake.

One person on X, formally Twitter, said: “I hope all that work of ‘Agent Trent convincing Jude to come to Liverpool’ doesn’t backfire and turn into ‘Agent Jude convinces Trent to join Madrid’”.

A second said: “This is not good. Someone separate these two.”

A third wrote: “Everyone is saying ‘agent Trent’.What if it's Jude doing the agenting for Madrid? They've shown interest in Trent before.”

A fourth said: “I hope its not agent Jude!”

A fifth added: “We went from Agent Trent convincing Jude to come to LFC to be weary that agent Jude is pulling the strings to take Trent to Madrid.”
