The man accused of deliberately driving into the crowd at Liverpool's Premier League title parade in May is facing an additional 24 charges, it has been reported.
Paul Doyle, 53, was arrested after a horrific incident saw a total of 130 people injured after many were mowed down by a black Ford Galaxy on Water Street, in Liverpool city centre.
Thousands of Liverpool fans had gathered to celebrate their 20th league title, having missed out on the chance to enjoy their 19th triumph because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Doyle, from West Derby in Liverpool, was charged with seven offences related to the incident, which included two counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, two counts of causing unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of dangerous driving.

However, as per the BBC, he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday through a video link from prison and the court heard that prosecutors had introduced 24 further offences - the majority of which relate to injuries sustained by alleged victims.
He is facing charges of attempted grievous bodily harm against two babies who were just six months and seven months old at the time.

Having become tearful when asked to confirm his identity, Doyle did not enter pleas to any of the counts as his barrister, Simon Csoka KC, asked for more time to mull over the fresh charges.

He explained that he did not have time to read through new witness statements after only learning details shortly before the court appearance.
Judge Andrew Menary KC granted extra time for the defence, saying: "These are serious matters and they are not uncomplicated, and there are practical difficulties in accessing the defendant."
Doyle, who submitted an application for a laptop to review CCTV footage while on remand, now faces a total of 31 charges.
After a 20 minute hearing where family members of those injured were present, the case was adjourned until 4 September.
