Some Liverpool fans are not happy with one of Jurgen Klopp's final signings for the club and have spoken out on social media.

After nine years at the helm, Klopp left Liverpool over the summer and was replaced by current boss Arne Slot.

During that time, the German manager brought some of the club's greatest ever players to Anfield including Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

But one of Klopp's players who still plays for the club has frustrated fans recently and they have taken to social media to speak out.

Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool in July last year from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig for a reported fee of €70million, signing a five-year deal.

While he has impressed on several occasions during his time at Anfield, some fans are not happy with how he is performing under Slot.

Posting on X, one fan wrote: "When we signed Szoboszlai from Leipzig, I thought we were finally getting someone in who could bring goals to our midfield.

"He doesn't do that, and I'm not really sure what he does at this stage, if I'm honest."

Another agreed, writing: "This guy ‘Szoboszlai’ has been here for over a season and people are still making excuses for him like it’s his first game in the prem."

While another added: "Are there still people defending Szoboszlai? Look how much his football hurts the eyes."

The Hungarian made headlines after Liverpool's 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday after he missed an incredible chance to take the lead during the first half.

A fantastic ball from left-back Andrew Robertson found the 23-year-old right on the edge of the six-yard box but Szoboszlai's close-range shot was blocked by a fantastic save from Wolves keeper Sam Johnstone.

Luckily for the midfielder, his teammate Ibrahima Konate found Liverpool's opener as he converted a cross from Diogo Jota to score his first-ever Premier League goal.

Wolves defender Ryan Ait-Nouri equalised for the hosts, but a penalty from Salah secured the three points for the Merseyside club.

Reacting to the match on Instagram with a photo of his miss, Szoboszlai wrote: "Game of inches but the most important is the 3 points! ☠️🔴"
