Jamie Carragher was absolutely furious with Alexis Mac Allister because of his behaviour during Liverpool's 4-2 loss to Aston Villa.
On Friday night Liverpool travelled to Villa park for a match that could prove crucial to Arne Slot's second season in charge.
With just three points needed from the remaining two matches to guarantee Champions League qualification, a win over Aston Villa would have secured Liverpool's spot ahead of their final game of the season.
But, the Reds suffered yet another Premier League defeat at Villa Park as Morgan Rogers opened the scoring ahead of a Virgil van Dijk equaliser, an impressive brace from Villa striker Ollie Watkins and late goals from John McGinn and Van Dijk.

The result will no doubt put further pressure on Slot following Liverpool's dismal season, but it isn't the result itself that had commentator and former Liverpool player Carragher angrily shouting down the microphone.
Instead, it was Liverpool midfielder Mac Allister's decision to go down in the Villa box following a clash with Ezri Konsa that infuriated Carragher, and he wasn't afraid to let his feelings known.
"He does that every game. Embarrassing," Carragher said on Sky Sports.
"Get him up. I'd be embarrassed if they sent Konsa off for that."
The incident in question came in the 71st minute as Mac Allister shoved Konsa in the chest while in the box with the scoreline still at 2-1.
Reacting to the push, Konsa shoved his opponent back and grabbed him by the shirt, causing Mac Allister to fall to the ground holding his face looking for a penalty.
The moment was checked by VAR but quickly dismissed, with even Slot expressing his frustrations as he could be seen telling his player to get off the ground and get on with the match.
Unlike Liverpool, Villa have now secured their spot in next season's Champions League and can now commit their full focus to their Europa League final against German side SC Freiburg on Wednesday, May 20.
Liverpool will instead need to hope that former rivals Manchester City beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday evening if they hope to secure Champions League football before the final day of the season.
Failing that, Slot will need his side to beat Brentford at Anfield in their final match, or hope Bournemouth fail to beat Nottingham Forest, if they are to play in Europe's top club competition in 2026/27.
