Ibrahima Konate's next club appears to have been revealed after he failed to agree a new contract with Liverpool.
Throughout the 2026 season Liverpool fans have raised questions over the future of star defender Konate ahead of his current deal expiring in June.
At the start of the season the Frenchman was heavily linked with several major European sides, including Real Madrid, despite Liverpool offering him new terms.
However, his disappointing form at the start of the campaign soon saw these links lessen, with talks over a new Liverpool contract believed to be progressing as the season went on.

In April, the 27-year-old hinted that a deal was close, saying "There are many things people have said but for a long time we have spoken with the club and we are close to an agreement.
"For sure, there is a big chance that I'm here next season. This is what I've always wanted."
It therefore came as a surprise when it was reported that Konate would not be extending his deal and would therefore be leaving Liverpool in the coming weeks.
Naturally, this has again raised questions about what could be next for the centre-back, and it appears we may already have an answer.
Ibrahima Konate's next club revealed
According to a report from the Daily Mail, despite the previous reports linking him to the Bernabeu, Paris Saint-Germain is now the most likely destination for Konate this summer.
Although the French giants, who are currently preparing for their second consecutive Champions League final, already boast a formidable back line that includes Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Illia Zabarnyi.

Therefore adding Konate to their ranks would make the French champions and even more impressive side, with the Liverpool star also believed to be eager on the move.
Joining PSG would allow Konate to move back to Paris, the City of his birth, and reunite with his PSG-supporting family in the French capital after representing his country at the upcoming World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
Konate was previously linked with PSG in the summer of 2024 ahead of Euro 2024, but despite him admitting it was a 'logical' move, he made it clear that he was happy at Liverpool and the move never materialised.
“It's a little logical because I was born in France and Paris. I have six big brothers and all six support PSG I think, at least four or five at least," Konate said while on international duty with France.
"We watched a lot of games together, they already brought me back to the younger stadium before I went to the training centre."
