Liverpool fans think Florian Wirtz's move to the club has already been completed after a Bayern Munich player spoke out about the deal.
The Reds have been in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a big-money move for the 22-year-old for several weeks as Arne Slot looks to strengthen his squad.
The Athletic's David Ornstein reported on Friday that Liverpool had submitted a €130 million (around £109.6 million) bid for the attacking midfielder, who was already said to have told Leverkusen that he wants to move to Anfield.

Wirtz is one of the best young players in world football, and has had 46 Bundesliga goal contributions across the last two seasons.
This term, he also scored six goals in nine Champions League appearances as Xabi Alonso's side reached the last 16 of the competition.
Predominantly a left-sided midfielder, Wirtz would likely slot into Liverpool's front three amid reported interest in their current left-sided attackers Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz.

It is one of the most eagerly-anticipated Premier League transfers of the summer, and given Wirtz's quality, Liverpool fans understandably want his contract to be signed and sealed before other clubs can get involved.
One of the clubs that showed initial interest was Bayern Munich, but it was reported by German outlet SZ that, despite face-to-face talks with club management and boss Vincent Kompany, the Germany international decided to turn down that particular move.
Now, Wirtz's Germany team-mate and Bayern star Joshua Kimmich has spoken out about the situation - becoming the first player to apparently confirm in public that his destination is indeed Liverpool.
Ahead of Germany's Nations League semi-final against Portugal on Wednesday, Kimmich said in a press conference: "He will have his reasons for making this decision.

"I hope it's the right path for him. As a Bayern player, I would have naturally wanted him to come to us."
Liverpool fans, meanwhile, are already in flight-tracking mode.

A private flight was scheduled to depart from Nuremberg - close to Germany's training camp - at 3pm on Monday and due to arrive in Manchester.

However, there is no evidence, barring fan theories, that Wirtz or any of his entourage are on the flight.
