Dominik Szoboszlai recorded the second fastest speed in Premier League history during a stunning moment in Liverpool's big win over Wolves.

Szoboszlai started his side's come-from-behind victory at Molineux as Liverpool beat Wolves 3-1 on Saturday.

Hwang Hee-chan opened the scoring, with the visitors hitting back through second-half goals from Cody Gakpo, Andy Robertson and Hugo Bueno (own-goal).

Liverpool switched things around at the break following their lacklustre first half as Szoboszlai dropped deeper.

He had more defensive responsibilities in his new role, and he showed he's capable of tracking back from midfield.

In the second half, Pedro Neto led a counter attack, with the Hungarian sprinting back to get goal side of the Wolves winger.

In doing so, he reached a top speed of 36.76kph - only Kyle Walker has recorded a faster speed in England's top flight.

The Manchester City defender clocked a top speed of 37.31kph last season.

As for Szoboszlai, it's another wrinkle in his game as he is enjoying a brilliant start to his Liverpool career.

Speaking after the result, the 22-year-old detailed the half-time rallying conversations that led to Liverpool's win on the road.

"That we didn’t give up," he said when asked about the key factor in his team's victory.

"At half-time the manager talked to us about the passion and what we needed in the second half, the work and what we needed to put into the game. I think we switched the formation and then everybody did their job and we turned the game."

The £60 million transfer added: "I think everyone would be even happier if we were not 1-0 down!

"But if we like to win like this then let’s continue, but let’s win at the end of the day, always."

Szoboszlai has started in each of Liverpool's league games this season.

The Reds take on LASK in the Europa League on Thursday before resuming their league campaign on Sunday when they face West Ham United.
