A former Sky Sports presenter has claimed that Liverpool are 'certain to sign' two highly rated stars in the summer transfer window.

With Liverpool just three points away from winning the 2024/25 Premier League title, some fans have already started thinking about next season and how manager Arne Slot will lineup next season.

The Dutch boss has promised fans that, after a quiet year of transfers, Liverpool will be busy once the window opens in June, with several massive names linked with a move to Anfield.

Ahead of the window opening, a top football presenter has spoken about how he expects Liverpool's transfer business to pan out, naming the two players he believes are certain to join the Reds.

It's no secret that Liverpool will be looking to sign a new striker ahead of next season, with both Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez failing to impress during the current campaign.

Alongside a new number nine, a replacement for Andrew Robertson at left-back seems to be likely as the Scotsman appears to be struggling to keep up to his usual standards as age catches up with him.

But former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys is confident that Arne Slot will address both of these issues now that star players Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have signed new contracts, and he knows exactly who Liverpool will sign.

Writing in his blog, Keys claimed: "I’d say this to Slot - re-signing van Dijk and Salah is NOT like signing two new players. It’s the right thing to do, but if Liverpool are going to be competitive next season they’ll need proper new signings.

"Two certs are Isak and Kerkez, but that won’t be enough either."

After a highly-impressive season for Newcastle United, Alexander Isak has been linked with almost every single top club in Europe, with many of them likely to compete for his signature in the summer.

The Swedish international has scored 21 goals in 30 Premier League appearances this season, demonstrating that he is one of the best attacking talents in Europe.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the pitch Milos Kerkez has emerged as an exciting prospect after enjoying a breakout season with Bournemouth.

But if Liverpool hope to sign the two stars, they'll have to dig deep with Kerkez expected to cost could cost in the region of £40m while Newcastle will demand around £120m to part ways with their star striker.
