One Liverpool star has reportedly handed in a transfer request in what would be a nightmare scenario for Arne Slot.
It has been a tough few weeks for Slot and Liverpool as they continue to search for their best form.
Although the Reds are unbeaten in 10 matches, they have struggled to impress and are currently winless in three, having drawn against Leeds United, Fulham and Arsenal.
Slot has had to deal with injury issues, with the likes of Conor Bradley, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike all sidelined at the moment.

With the January transfer window now open, it has been claimed that one Liverpool star is pushing for a move away from Anfield.
According to Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Federico Chiesa has 'made it crystal clear' he wants to leave Liverpool and rejoin Juventus this month.
The Italian has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Slot's starting XI and former club Juventus see him as the ideal addition to the squad.
So far this campaign, the 28-year-old has registered two goals and three assists in 20 appearances across all competitions.

Speaking last month, Slot was quizzed on Chiesa, he said: "Every player has a possibility to start, but we have many options to start in his position. He is having his impact coming of the bench a few times."

The Dutchman also hinted that Chiesa could be an option for the striker role.
Slot added: "He (Ekitike) is not the only No. 9 I have.
"Federico Chiesa can play in that position as well, so I have the chance to maybe, I wouldn’t say rest him, but take him off if he’s completely tired."
With Ekitike and Isak currently out, Liverpool will be very short on attacking options if Chiesa is sold.

In addition, talisman Mohamed Salah is currently away on AFCON duty, with Egypt set to take on the Ivory Coast in the quarter-final on Saturday.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are back in action on Monday night when they take on Barnsley in the third round of the FA Cup at Anfield.
