The new Liverpool x adidas 25/26 third kit has just dropped and fans are calling it one of the best kits in years but there is one particular detail about the shirt that has captured plenty of attention.
New images of the highly-anticipated kit were leaked earlier this year, but ahead of its official launch this week (Tuesday, September 9), fans spotted a subtle difference in its appearance.
The shirt, which has been dubbed 'the kit of the decade', boasts a retro LFC badge and the adidas trefoil logo, which has gone down a treat online.

As spotted by Footy Headlines, the Liverpool third kit now boasts a 'different' collar and cuffs. In the campaign video, the shirt appears to have more monochrome stripes running along the edge of its sleeves and collar than in the images teased earlier this year.
As per their report, it's possible that the two designs are different versions of the kit. For instance, one design may be for the player-issue authentic jersey, whilst the other could be used for a fan replica jersey.
However, it's also possible that adidas has made last-minute changes to the design.

The Liverpool x adidas 25/26 third kit will be available to purchase on Tuesday, September 9 via adidas and the official LFC Shop, and it's already proven popular.
On social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Reds supporters have been raving about the new design, with many pleased to have waited for the third kit to drop.
"Now THAT is a thing of beauty," one wrote.
"That's the one everyone's been waiting for," another fan added. "Not sure whether I'll get the long or short sleeve one, but it's gonna happen."
A third wrote: "Phenomenal. The Originals logo does everything. More of this, please."

But not everyone is rushing to buy the new kit, as some social media users have commented that they dislike its green hue.
