Leicester City's lineup against Coventry for their first Championship game of the season has left fans in disbelief.

The Foxes suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, just seven years after they won the title.

However, Enzo Maresca's side look a step above already, boasting a ridiculously strong bench for their opening game. You can see the lineup below.

Fans were quick to respond to the team lineup, with one tweeting: "Nahhh look at that bench man. No way a championship club should have that kind of bench."

"Daka benched in the championship," another added.

"Nah cmon what’s the real team?," a third wrote.

"That’s a team and half for the championship look how strong the bench is," a fourth exclaimed.

"I thought the Premier League started next week", another fan joked.

All of that being said, Leicester were humbled 4-0 by Liverpool during pre-season, suggesting they've got a way to go yet.

Meanwhile, they lost midfield duo James Maddison and Youri Tielemans to Tottenham hotspur and Aston Villa respectively.

However, 36-year-old Jamie Vardy has stayed loyal to his boyhood club and will hope he can lead them back to the English top-flight, starting with a win over Coventry.

The Sky Blues narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, losing to Luton on penalties in the play-off final.
