Laura Woods phoned in to talkSPORT after taking issue with a comment about Arsenal that she has described as the 'most disrespectful thing she has ever heard'.
Arsenal increased their lead at the top of the Premier League table following their 1-0 victory at Brighton and Manchester City dropping points at home to Nottingham Forest in their 2-2 draw.
The Gunners are now seven points ahead of the Blues, who have a game in hand.
Mikel Arteta was embroiled in a war of words with Fabian Hurzeler following his side's latest victory after the Brighton boss criticised his opposite number's style of play.

On talkSPORT, former Newcastle United and West Ham United manager Alan Pardew also hit out at Arteta's side, claiming they are a 'functional' team and don't play 'beautiful' football.

He even suggested Arsenal will have an 'asterisk' next to their name given their style of play, angering Woods in the process.
"When I'm looking at them as my football manager's head on, they're so professional," the 64-year-old began. "They do every bit of gamesmanship to get it over the line. It's only a goal, isn't it?"
Pardew added: "And at the moment, it looks like Arsenal are going to see it through. There'll be an asterisk next to their name because you've only got to look at them really in these type of performances and say, it's just a functional display.
"It's a professional, functional display. They're good, they're strong, they're powerful. But there is nothing beautiful about them. That's the truth."

Arsenal fan Woods was left fuming with Pardew's comments and rang in to the show to call out the ex-Premier League manager.
"Do you know what, Alan, I love you, but that is the most disrespectful thing I've ever heard," she exclaimed.
"How can you say that? What, because we like to take free-kicks, set pieces and corners? I don't understand the thought process.
"It's mental... if Arsenal win the league, none of us fans, I don't care how they do it, I don't care if you lot don't enjoy watching us, why would we care if we're entertaining or not?"
The sports broadcaster continued: "I love it, I put my feet up and say whatever happens tonight, I'll be in a much better mood than Jamie O'Hara, whatever happens!
"When we were playing lovely football, everyone was saying: 'They're playing lovely football but can't win a game'.
"And now we're winning games in different fashions, different ways, the games evolving and you lot are bored."
