Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has reportedly left the France camp ahead of their match against Azerbaijan.
On Thursday night, France continued their 2026 World Cup qualifying fixtures by taking on Ukraine at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappe scored a brace while Michael Olise and Hugo Ekitike were also on the scoresheet as France came away 4-0 winners.
As a result, Didier Deschamps' men remained top of Group D.

Ahead of this weekend's fixture against Azerbaijan, it has been claimed that Mbappe has left the camp and will return to Madrid.
Journalist Fabrice Hawkins wrote on social media: "Kylian Mbappé is returning to Madrid and will not travel to Azerbaijan with the France team.
"According to the FFF, he is experiencing inflammation in his right ankle that requires examinations, which he will undergo in Madrid."

After scoring twice against Ukraine, Mbappe has now netted 400 goals in his career, doing so at the age of just 26 years and 328 days.
In comparison, Lionel Messi acheived the feat at 27 years and 95 days and Cristiano Ronaldo at 28 years and 335 days.
If Mbappe continues this kind of form for his entire career, he could get close to Ronaldo's stunning goals tally of 953. The 40-year-old has previously stated he wants to reach at least 1000 goals.
Speaking after the match, Mbappe praised Ronaldo's goal scoring power while warning that he will try to get as close as possible or even overtake the Portuguese great.
He said: "400 doesn't impress people, if you want to be in that circle that impresses people, you have to score 400 more. Cristiano Ronaldo's 1000 goals? It's unreal. But let's try the unreal, you have to try, you only have one career."
Ronaldo had an evening to forget on Thursday as he was sent off during a 2-0 defeat against the Republic of Ireland.
The Al Nassr star saw his yellow card upgraded to a red after VAR felt Ronaldo had elbowed Ireland defender Dara O'Shea.
