Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a monumental transfer spree in a bid to deliver the Turkish Super Lig title at Fenerbahce.

Mourinho returned to management with the Istanbul giants a year ago and had an eventful first season where he provided plenty of entertainment through various box office interviews and press conferences.

On the pitch though, Fenerbahce ended the campaign trophyless - finishing second in the league - 11 points behind rivals Galatasaray after 36 games.

Fenerbahce's last league title was in 2014 under Ersun Yanal and Mourinho, with a year remaining on his contract, is said to want a series of reinforcements in order to end the drought.

In fact, Fenerbahce are being linked with as many as FIVE blockbuster signings as they look to transform their side.

Turkish newspaper Fanatik, via Record, claim that the club have gone "completely crazy" and are planning the "bomb of the season" in former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

Who are the five players Jose Mourinho wants to sign?

The Brazil sensation only recently returned to boyhood club Santos after a disastrous spell with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia and is in the process of extending his deal.

However, Fener are said to be genuinely interested in making him a marquee signing who could sell a whole lot of shirts.

It's said a one-and-a-half year contract has been proposed by Fenerbahce, who are also hopeful of pulling off a double deal for PSG pair Goncalo Ramos and Kang-in Lee.

There is optimism an agreement can be reached given the good relationship between both club presidents.

An approach for a third PSG player in Kolo Muani hasn't been successful as he would prefer to remain with Juventus, but Fanatik claim there is a crazy offer for Spurs' captain Heung-Min Son.

Son worked with Mourinho at Spurs and with one year left on his deal, is believed to be willing to leave the club this summer after ending their 17-year trophy drought.

Meanwhile, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu is reporting that Fenerbahce have submitted an offer for Manchester City captain Kyle Walker, who spent the second half of last season at AC Milan and is deemed surplus to requirements.

It appears as though Mourinho has identified the 35-year-old as his preferred target to replace Bright Osayi-Samuel, who is poised to join Besiktas on a free transfer.
