Joao Pedro shocked fans after suffering a nasty collision with Brazil teammate Gabriel Martinelli during their World Cup qualifier against Chile.
Chelsea man Pedro led the line as Brazil beat Chile 3-0 in their World Cup qualifier at the Maracana on Friday.
Premier League-based stars Estevao, Lucas Paqueta and Bruno Guimaraes all got on the score-sheet.
Chelsea's Estevao opened the scoring in the 38th minute before West Ham United's Paqueta and Newcastle United's Guimaraes added goals in the second-half.
But before Brazil took the lead, Pedro collided with Arsenal's Martinelli in a horrifying moment.
The collision appeared to wind the 23-year-old, who vomited after his inadvertent clash with Martinelli.
He stunned fans after throwing up as he continued to play.
But the forward was eventually replaced in the 71st minute.
Pedro's appearance against Chile was his third international cap, having made his debut in November 2023.
He has set his sights on next summer's World Cup, where he wants to be Brazil's No.9.
Speaking about Brazil, he said: "When we speak about football, we think about Brazil. Brazil is love, passion. As a kid, I watched Neymar a lot, and, on YouTube, Ronaldo, Romerio, Ronaldinho. Everyone dreams to wear No9 for Brazil in the World Cup. I need to do my job here, and then Mr [Carlo] Ancelotti will choose. I think I have a good chance.
"I’ve come to a big club at the right time, because I want to be in the Brazil squad for the World Cup," he added. "If I do play, the dream will have come true. In Rio, the kids were coming and saying, 'Hey, make sure you score for us'."
